Golden Hills

Golden Hills began with one hive in Brookfield, WI in June of 2000. The first year we collected and sold sixty pounds of honey. Since then we have expanded into several other locations but our goal is to still give individual attention to every pound of honey we produce.
The bees put a lot of effort into making honey. It takes more than 20,000 foraging trips and over 4 million flower visits to make a single pound of honey. Each individual bee will make only a fraction of a teaspoon. In return for their hard work, we give individual attention to every hive and every pound of honey we harvest. Unlike most of the honey you could buy in the store, our honey has been only minimally heated and filtered. When you are eating honey from Golden Hills you are getting as close to the hive as possible.

Jamie Christie	BSc hons. Nutritional Biochemistry Jamie developed an interest in nutrition through sport. Jamie has been competing internationally for the British canoeing team since 1994. His interest developed though his involvement in canoeing, so much so that in 1997 he decided to return to university as a mature student to study Nutritional Biochemistry. He then joined Lifeplan as Quality Assurance Manager and has progressed to Managing Director.

Julie Lamble	BSc hons. Nutritional Biochemistry Julie joined Lifeplan from University after studying Nutritional Biochemistry and has developed in her role as Nutrition and Technical Manager and is now responsible for all aspects of nutritional science at Lifeplan. Her knowledge of the subject is second to none.
